Our Story
The Ocean Students Community started in 2020 as a small initiative in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to support students from coastal regions. Today, it has grown into a youth-led movement creating real impact through education, mentorship, and environmental action.
Our Vision
We envision a world where students from coastal and underserved communities, especially those most at risk, are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to thrive. Through education, community engagement, and sustainable development, we aim to build a more inclusive, healthy, and environmentally-conscious society.
Our Mission
At OSC, we believe in the power of education and community-driven action to foster sustainable development and social equity. Our mission is to:
Empower marginalized youth by providing access to educational resources, skill building, and mentorship opportunities.
Foster environmental awareness through initiatives in climate action, marine conservation, and ocean literacy.
Promote public health education focused on crucial topics such as blood donation, sexual health, menstrual hygiene, and the prevention of lifestyle diseases and drug addiction.
Champion gender equality and raise awareness about social issues affecting marginalized groups.
